Jake joined Dake Wells Architecture in 2022 as a designer in the firm’s Kansas City studio. An inherently curious and analytical guy, Jake finds in architecture and the design process the opportunity to explore endless avenues of interest. Motivated by the belief that the best solutions to problems are created by finding connections that may not be immediately obvious, Jake’s personal design philosophy aligns strongly with the firm’s fundamental belief in cross pollination.
Jake has experience on projects for K-12, higher education, and civic clients. To his work, he brings an interest in understanding relationships that exists between micro and macro design decisions – how small decisions translate to the overall form, and how large design moves will trickle down to the detail level.
Jake earned a Master of Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 2018.
