Alex aspired to be an architect from a young age. When his grandparents took him to see House on The Rock in Wisconsin at age seven, the experience showed him the power to inspire people through built environments. He explains the atmosphere was “beautiful, yet frightening”, and from that day forward he set out to see what creativity he could bring to design - first with Legos, and now with architecture.
A graduate of Drury University’s Class of 2017, Alex completed his master’s degree in Architecture cum laude with minors in Graphic Design and Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture. He joined Dake Wells Architecture in 2019 and serves as a project architect and project manager on a variety of projects for civic and K-12 clients.
