Grant joined Dake Wells Architecture in 2023, first as an intern then as a full-time designer following graduation. In his role as a Design Associate, Grant works with his team on a variety of civic and education projects, both K-12 and higher-education. An inherently curious guy, Grant is interested in understanding the humanness of architecture – where basic human needs and artistic expression intersect and depart and how the interplay between them might shape a building. He particularly enjoys the early phases of a project, where conceptualization of space within certain parameters opens endless possibilities.
Grant brings experience from prior internships, as well as his involvement in local design affiliated organizations.
