Nicholas joined Dake Wells Architecture in 2024 following graduation from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas. In his role as a Design Associate in the firm’s Kansas City office, Nicholas works with his team on a broad range of projects for municipal and community clients. Drawing from his love of nature and his interest in the sustainable and biophilic aspects of design, Nicholas recognizes the value of historical and vernacular construction as a reference for modern designers. In his work, he seeks to create contemporary buildings that embody the lessons learned from structures that have stood the test of time – those that are designed to be one with their context and site, while meeting the needs of the people who inhabit them.
