Cara Collins, AIA

Bachelor of Architecture degree from Hammons School of Architecture at Drury University

Cara worked in the office of Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects and at a Springfield based design-build firm before taking the position of Project Associate and “studio culture curator” at Dake Wells Architecture.

Cara’s academic accolades are impressive, graduating summa cum laude from Drury University’s Hammons School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture and minors in Art History, Design Art, and Global Studies. Cara has studied abroad in Volos, Greece and was the recipient of the AIA Henry Adams School Medal and the Catherine Taylor Scholarship, an award presented to top female architecture students. Cara is an active member of the AIA, is a member of the Young Architects Forum, and regularly serves as a design critic at Drury University Hammons School of Architecture.
