James joined Dake Wells Architecture in 2022 after earning a Master of Architecture degree, along with a minor in Philosophy and Religion, from Drury University. In his work, James is drawn to the part of the design process where form meets function, exploring how different elements engage one another to create environments that strike a balance between beauty and function.
James is motivated by architecture’s ability to alter how we perceive the world. Known to colleagues and peers as an observant, detail-oriented, and passionate designer, James is honing his professional skills toward a goal of creating architecture that leaves a lasting positive impact on all who engage it.
