Corey joined Dake Wells Architecture in 2020 following a stint in Colorado. Originally from Nixa, Missouri, Corey grew up within a family in the construction business, where he developed an early passion for architecture and design. His interests led him to pursue a bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies at the University of Missouri and a master's degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. As a student, Corey studied abroad in South America and was selected as one of 100 international students to travel to Southern Italy to develop strategies to enhance the design of refugee camps.
Motivated by his belief that architecture has the ability to positively impact many aspects of our global society - health, environment, politics, social injustice - he takes his role as an architect seriously, using is as a means to deliver design solutions that work for everyone and improve lives.
When not working, teaching, or geeking out on architecture, Corey can be found traveling, kayaking his way through the Ozarks, trying out new breweries, and cheering on Missouri sports, especially Mizzou Football.
