Brandon is a design associate at Dake-Wells Architecture, taking advantage of the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the design process. His midwestern roots taught him that success must be earned, design must be thoughtful, and the natural landscape must be respected and enjoyed. Brandon believes thoughtful design is fundamental for well-being and is dedicated to the research and investigation of the impact of design. Brandon graduated cum laude from Drury University with a Master of Architecture from Hammons School of Architecture and a minor in graphic design. Along with three Librarium Prize nominations, Brandon was also awarded the Librarium Prize for the most distinguished thesis project and the prestigious Founders Award for Design Excellence from the Hammons School of Architecture. During his education, Brandon studied architecture in Aegina, Greece and practiced architecture in Suzhou, China, allowing him to gain a passion for travel and diverse perspectives. While currently pursuing licensure, Brandon is an active member of the Young Architects Forum, The Network for Springfield’s Young Professionals, and AIA Springfield.
